Persistence : Your Guarantee to Success |
The Law of persistence is the law of facing problems. You must accept that your progress will not move in a straight line. As I have said before, science has never been able to discover nor to be able to prove the existence of a flawlessly straight line. The problem with a straight line is that is violates the first law of creation which is that no two things created can ever be alike and that all things created are unique. If a straight line could exist at all it would have to exists as a phenomena which would have to be duplicateable and with no variation each time it were created. This just could not exist, that is, a multiplicity of creation which always remains the same. However, all philosophy set aside for a moment, persistence is that quality which knows that problems are a part of progress. Persistence is also that quality which is ready, willing and able to accept them not as problems but as challenges to be overcome in the same spirit as a champion athelete faces every challenge and obstacle to ultimate victory The Way We See the Problem Is the Problem Do you see the problem as a solveable situation or as a hopeless situation? Your positive mental attitude changes the nature of all problems. Ask yourself right now, “What does the word 'problem' mean to me?” Does it mean something that you want to avoid, want to lament or want to solve? How you answer this is always based on your decision. Yes, it is a simply matter of a decision. Whichever you choose is that which you get. If you choose to run from or avoid a problem, “problem” will come to mean for you: fear and procrastination. If you choose to lament a problem, then “problem” |

will come to mean worry, going around in frenetic circles and paralysis of motion. If you choose to stand up, chest high and courageously, face and solve a problem, the “problem” will come to mean an invigorating and exciting game of life. My question now to you is, “Which belief do you want ‘problem’ to mean for you?” Make this decision. Then choose that! All problems are just the absence of an idea. Problems are an opportunity for growth. The beautiful part of a problem and the true design of a problem is to lead of us to self-discovery. The solution to a problem changes the nature of the problem because with every new solution, you change and grow as a person. How Many Frogs Were Left ? (A Riddle) Here is a riddle for you.
Okay, mathematicians, what is your answer? The correct answer is 3. Remember: Deciding to jump, and jumping are two different things. Deciding is a thought. Jumping is an action. Action is what counts! And persistent, continuous action is what leads you to the realization of your goal. |
