On this page, I will introduce to you the world of lucid dreams as opposed to regular dreams that most of us are familiar with. This subject is so powerful and all encompassing that it easily merits a complete book just on all aspects of this unique experience. In my book, The Secret Revealed, I go into great detail as to what a lucid dream is and how to induce them each night you go to sleep. For now, right here, I will content myself just to explain to you what it is and what it could mean to you.

What is a Lucid Dream?

When we normally dream, it is usually not until after we wake up in the morning that we realize we have been dreaming. When we talk about a lucid dream, we are aware that we are dreaming while we are dreaming and suddenly the dream scenery becomes very vivid and realistic – as real as waking life – and then some! The colors are brighter, more life-like, almost lumenescent in quality as they shimmer and pulsate with beauty. In a lucid dream, you know you are dreaming while you are dreaming. You know you are in a bed asleep while this experience is going on. You know that that all of these incredibly “real” looking images are part of a “dream.” In a lucid dream, you can eat a chocolate cake and have a real sensation of taste and smell of chocolate in your “mouth” and “nose.” These sensations are just as real and indistinguishable as you could ever possibly experience in waking life!

sun-warmed body of your companion rubbing sensuously next to yours. A lucid dream is as “real” as any real waking life experience with every one of your five senses in full play, including your “sixth sense” or your psychic sense to perceive events that have yet to happen. The only distinguishable difference between a waking experience and a lucid dream is that in a lucid dream you know you are dreaming; during the day, we just don’t know we are in the daytime dream we call “reality.” (If you think that waking world reality has any more permanence than dream world reality, then seriously ask yourself, “How long does the present moment last?”)

The key characteristic of lucid dreams which them different form ordinary dreaming is that the moment you realize you are dreaming, the nature and visual texture of the dream immediately changes and mimics waking world reality to the “Nth” degree.

Aside from the amazing vivid imagery you experience when you become lucid, you can also create almost any world or adventure you desire. You can learn how to take control and guide your dreams in directions you wish them to go! Wow!

The Awesome Possibilities of Lucid Dreams

Just to contemplate the creative possibities of the lucid dream state is breathtaking. At night, those without sight could see. Those without speech could talk. The elderly could experience youth.
