I have been fascinate for the last 30 years of my life with the creative and revealing power of dreams. We sleep about one third of our lives, and I have come to know that this time, even as we are in a deep sleep and in dreams is a special time to find creative solutions to all of our most perplexing problems. Very few of us remember our dreams, fewer know how to interpret their messages and even fewer of us regularly record them.

Even before you embark upon the following proven methods to remember and to record your dreams, you must first decide that from now on your dreams are important, and that you will discipline yourself you perform your morning dream recall ritual everyday until it becomes a habit for at least 21 days.

1) Don't Move Attempt to stay in the same position where you find yourself upon awakening. Quick movement tends to disrupt your recall.

2) Gently Turn Your Body into another position. If you wake on your right side, gently turn to your left side. A slight change in body position often triggers more dream recall.

3) Allow Your Dream Images to Come In If you are not in a hurry, and if you don't start immediately thinking about the myriad of things that you have to routinely do to start your day, your dreams of the night will gently start to come to your mind. When they come in, they come in a reverse order totally complete. You first will recall the last dream you were having just before awakening, then you will remember the dream before that one and possibly the dream before that one.

4) Record Your Dreams On a Pad In my book, The Secret Revealed, I teach a way for you to hold a small note pad and record your dreams with your eyes closed, but I am going to make this even easier for you. Get a Light Writer pen that will write in the dark. You can get them at www.lightwriter.com With one of these marvelous pens that write in the dark, you can write directly into your dream journal.

5) Tell Your Partner Your Dream By sharing your dreams with your partner, relative, friend or spouse, you can oftentimes get insights into the meaning of your dreams.

6) Refer to Dream Dictionaries only for some ideas as to what the dream could mean, but keep in mind that dream dictionaries are not meant to give you the meaning of any particular dream. Dream dictionaries give you possibilities to think about becuase the dream intrepretation must always ring true to you and for your present life situation. In the book The Secret Revealed, I give you even more precise and accurate ways to always get the right interpretations of your dreams.

Now that you know how to remember and recall your dreams, you are well on your way for unlocking the magic kingdom of dream guidance.
